Dolphin Press & Print @ MICA is a professional print media initiative embedded in the printmaking department curriculum at the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). Dolphin Press & Print is a university-based shop where the printers are undergraduate and graduate students working in collaboration with established artists, illustrators, designers and writers.
Throughout its history, the Press has produced more than 120 projects, including print and book editions in a variety of digital and traditional print media that challenge convention. The Dolphin Press & Print Archive is one of MICA’s research centers. The extensive print archive, with holdings dating back to 1998, is open by appointment.
