Cirrus Gallery and Cirrus Editions is a reputable, LA-based print publisher and gallery that has been pushing boundaries since 1970.
Founded in Los Angeles in January 1970, Cirrus Editions, Ltd. has become a world standard in printmaking with a history now spanning four and a half decades. A visionary printmaker, Jean Robert Milant has guided the presses and the publishing of more than 700 titles for over 100 artists world-wide. In 1986, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) established the CIRRUS ARCHIVE allowing this rich printmaking history to be maintained, studied and researched for generations to come. In 1995 the museum published VOL I of the Cirrus Catalogue Raisonne, marking the first 25-years.
Additionally, Cirrus Gallery maintains a 40-year, cutting edge gallery program with many celebrated exhibitions un-rivaled in Southern California. Many of today’s most celebrated artists were invited to be included in some of their earliest shows. The parade of new talent continues.
